In October 2015, LESSAT collaborated with the Ministry of Education’s Bureau of Science Technology, Vocational and Special Education and LISIS to conduct a National Survey on Science Technology and Innovation Activities.


2014-2015, the organization partnered with LIWOMAC and WE4SELF to conduct a case study on Liberians’ perceptions and attitudes towards the Ebola virus disease in 2014-2015, funded by IREX, USAID, and UNDEF, using Focus Group Discussions.

LESSAT-AFRICA held its inaugural Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Conference for 150 young girls in Monrovia, Liberia, on March 31, 2016.

In October 2015, At the inaugural STEM AWARD & recognition dinner of LESSAT-AFRICA, Dean Peter Natt honored Ms. Cecelia, president of Society of Women Engineers of Liberia, and other STEM & TVET Executives.
