Scholarships and Financial Aid opportunities

Teachers Training and capacity building

Access to quality education remains a major challenge for many young people across Africa, especially girls and students from low-income communities. Financial hardship, early responsibilities, and limited opportunities often force talented learners to abandon their education before reaching their full potential.

Scholarships help remove these barriers. They give motivated students the chance to continue their studies, develop critical skills, and prepare for meaningful careers. By supporting education through scholarships, communities gain skilled professionals, responsible leaders, and problem-solvers who contribute to national development.

LESSAT-AFRICA views scholarships as an investment in human capital and a practical pathway to social mobility and long-term progress.

WHAT WE DO

LESSAT-AFRICA’s Scholarship Programme supports students who demonstrate commitment, potential, and a strong desire to learn but lack the financial means to continue their education. We focus on access to secondary, tertiary, STEM, and TVET education.

Our work includes identifying deserving students, linking them to local and international scholarship opportunities, and providing guidance throughout the application process. We also support scholars with mentorship, career guidance, and skills development to help them succeed beyond the classroom.

Special attention is given to girls, young women, and students from underserved communities.
