Founded in 2012, LESSAT-AFRICA is a Liberian development organization that aims to empower underserved communities with representation in Liberia, Ghana, Kenya, and Rwanda. The organization emphasizes innovative STEM-based vocational education, sustainable development, climate action, school renovations, teacher training, and the provision of essential educational resources with a focus on fostering sustainable livelihoods and promoting women’s empowerment.

Our mission is to empower impoverished communities through STEM-focused vocational education and advocacy, preparing them to tackle global challenges like climate change, healthcare disparities, and technological inequality.

Our vision is to be the premier regional development NGO in Africa, transforming communities into skilled human capital and combating illiteracy by fostering excellence and innovation in STEM and TVET through hands-on learning, collaboration, and creativity.
