Mobile Cinema Awareness
LESSAT-Africa brings engaging visual storytelling directly to communities through a mobile cinema initiative. Using films and animations, we break down complex STEM and TVET concepts into simple, relatable narratives. This approach makes learning accessible, sparks curiosity, and builds practical understanding among learners of all ages, including those in remote areas.
Grassroots Mobilization
LESSAT-Africa strengthens TVET by leveraging Open Educational Resources, online forums, and private sector partnerships. We share toolkits, best practices, and global connections while promoting market-driven curricula, skill-based funding, and Small Project Assistance Grants. These efforts support practical, community-focused initiatives that empower youth and local innovators to develop sustainable solutions.
Community Health & Wellness
LESSAT-Africa strengthens communities through comprehensive health and social support programs. Our interventions include child health, elder care, mental health support, substance abuse awareness, vaccination education, and HIV/AIDS prevention. We also provide youth guidance, counseling, motivation, and developmental screenings, including ADHD assessments, ensuring individuals are physically, mentally, and socially prepared for education, skills training, and community development.
