Educational Infrastructure support

Promoting Safe Learning Spaces and Equal Access to Education

LESSAT-Africa strengthens education and community resilience through school construction, facility upgrades, and disaster response initiatives. By improving learning environments and restoring critical infrastructure during emergencies, we help ensure safe, accessible, and uninterrupted access to education.

School Accessibility Support

LESSAT-Africa strengthens educational infrastructure and disaster response by constructing, renovating, and equipping schools, science laboratories, vocational workshops, libraries, and ICT centers. We improve access to quality STEM education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) through learning materials, digital technologies, and renewable energy solutions. During emergencies, we support disaster preparedness, school rehabilitation, and infrastructure recovery to ensure safe, inclusive, and uninterrupted learning opportunities for communities across Liberia and Africa.

Rural Access and Infrastructure

LESSAT-Africa improves access to education and essential services by developing community infrastructure that connects and supports underserved populations while strengthening resilience in times of need. Through the construction of safe trail bridges, school sanitation facilities, clean water systems, and off-grid solar installations, we help remove barriers that prevent children and communities from accessing education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

Mobile Innovation/Learning Hubs

LESSAT-Africa expands access to STEM education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) through mobile innovation and learning hubs serving underserved communities. These hubs provide hands-on learning, digital literacy training, and technical skills development while helping bridge the digital divide through computers, tablets, networking equipment, and volunteer-led IT support. We also provide learning materials, strengthen teacher capacity through STEM and digital skills training, and support school health and sanitation improvements to create safe, inclusive, and technology-enabled learning environments
