Childhood is often described as the most beautiful phase of human life – a time of freedom, curiosity, safety, and joy. But for many children across Liberia and Africa, this ideal is far from reality. Countless children are out of school, burdened by poverty, social barriers, and systemic neglect.

In many communities, socio-economic hardship, gender inequality, and limited access to resources force children to drop out of school. Instead of learning and growing, they are pushed into child labor, early marriage, or worse — becoming vulnerable to exploitation and abuse.

At LESSAT AFRICA, we believe that education is not just a basic right, but a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future. Going to school empowers children with knowledge, self-worth, and opportunity. It provides them with a safe environment to explore their potential, develop critical life skills, and become confident contributors to their communities.

Through our ongoing Education, STEM, and TVET Vocational Training initiatives, we are working tirelessly to bring children — especially girls and those from underserved regions — back to school. Our programs aim to provide accessible, inclusive, and quality education, while also empowering youth with technical skills and leadership opportunities.
