Why We Focus on Education?
If we truly want to address challenges such as poverty, poor healthcare, unemployment, gender inequality, and human rights violations, there is no better place to start than with education. It gives children the power to dream, think, and create a better life. When a child learns, the whole community grows stronger. Yet many children in Africa still lack access to safe schools, good teachers, and learning materials. Every child deserves the chance to learn and reach their full potential.
Mobile Cinema for Awareness
Through our mobile cinema initiative, we bring engaging visual stories directly to communities, using films and animations to break down complex STEM, TVET, and climate change concepts into simple, relatable narratives. This approach makes learning accessible, sparks curiosity, and encourages practical understanding among learners of all ages, even in remote areas.
Grassroots Mobilization
LESSAT-Africa strengthens TVET by leveraging Open Educational Resources, online forums, and private sector partnerships. We share toolkits, best practices, and global connections, while developing market-driven curricula, skill-based funding, and Small Project Assistance Grants to support practical, community-focused initiatives that empower youth.
Kids Health & Support Programs
LESSAT-Africa strengthens communities through healthcare training, covering kids health, elder care, mental health, substance abuse, vaccination awareness, and HIV/AIDS education. We also support youth with guidance, counseling, motivation, and screenings for conditions like ADHD, ensuring they are physically, mentally, and socially prepared to benefit from education, skills training, and community development.

What we do to empower women
Education empowers children and youth with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to build a secure and dignified future. It transforms lives, helping young people become responsible citizens, innovators, and changemakers who can contribute meaningfully to national and global development.
In Africa, and particularly in Liberia, many children and youth still face barriers to quality education due to poverty, gender disparities, lack of infrastructure, and limited access to trained teachers and learning materials. While education is recognized as a fundamental human right, the learning journey remains uneven for many children across rural and underserved communities.
What Lessat do
LESSAT-Africa supports schools, teachers, and students through our STEM and TVET Education for All Program. We provide learning materials, scholarships, and teacher training. We also rebuild schools, promote science and technology, and raise awareness about the value of education. Our goal is simple: help every child learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
