We advocate for increased STEM funding, vocational training in secondary schools, and the establishment of a Science and Technology Ministry in Liberia.

We Engage

We engage communities about climate change and improve local infrastructure (schools). We support disaster-stricken schools in remote areas.

About empowering grassroots

LESSAT-Africa believes real change begins at the grassroots level. Our vision is to build strong, self-reliant communities through education, skills training, and opportunity.

We work with women, youth, and schools to remove barriers that limit growth. By building capacity and trust, we help people shape their own future.

From Liberia to other African nations, our programs bring learning, leadership, and lasting change.

Mobile Cinema for Awareness

Through our mobile cinema initiative, we bring engaging visual stories directly to communities, using films and animations to break down complex STEM, TVET, and climate change concepts into simple, relatable narratives. This approach makes learning accessible, sparks curiosity, and encourages practical understanding among learners of all ages, even in remote areas.

Grassroots Mobilization

LESSAT-Africa strengthens TVET by leveraging Open Educational Resources, online forums, and private sector partnerships. We share toolkits, best practices, and global connections, while developing market-driven curricula, skill-based funding, and Small Project Assistance Grants to support practical, community-focused initiatives that empower youth.

Kids Health & Support Programs

LESSAT-Africa strengthens communities through healthcare training, covering kids health, elder care, mental health, substance abuse, vaccination awareness, and HIV/AIDS education. We also support youth with guidance, counseling, motivation, and screenings for conditions like ADHD, ensuring they are physically, mentally, and socially prepared to benefit from education, skills training, and community development.

What We Do

Women Empowerment

We support women to learn, earn, and lead. Through grants, microfinance, and skills training, women build small businesses and create jobs.Our programs promote gender equality by increasing women’s access to education and leadership roles in their communities.

Education and TVET

Education drives empowerment. LESSAT-Africa promotes STEM and TVET learning that gives youth the skills to thrive in today’s job market.We improve schools, train teachers, and support students through scholarships and mentorship. Our education programs focus on creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.

Facility Development

We help build and improve schools, health centers, and training facilities. These spaces become hubs of learning, innovation, and community growth.By upgrading infrastructure, we make education and healthcare more accessible to rural populations.

Healthcare and Awareness

We promote community health through outreach, hygiene education, and child wellness programs. Our aim is to reduce preventable diseases and improve quality of life.Health awareness empowers families to live better and focus on learning and work.

Building Grassroots Capacity

LESSAT-Africa invests in small, local organizations led by women and youth. We provide leadership training, resource management support, and mentorship.We also help these groups gain visibility with donors and partners by sharing their stories and highlighting their impact.We trust local voices they understand their challenges best. By supporting them, we build a strong base for sustainable growth.
