Where does my donation go?

LESSAT-AFRICA has proudly adopted the 100% model, wherein 100% of the donations we receive go directly to our programming,  the construction of schools and other activities.

We know that when you make a donation, you do it to help these children and youth in need, not to cover administrative costs. As an organization of volunteers, we ensure that your full donation goes directly to those who need it the most.

It’s not always the easiest way to go about it, but we strongly believe it’s the ethical and responsible way to connect 100% of your donation to those who will benefit from it the most.

 

Materials Donation

Our organization supports STEM and TVET education by helping schools get the tools they need to teach effectively. Many institutions lack basic resources, and your contribution can help close that gap.

We welcome donations such as construction materials for school renovations, classroom chairs and desks, science kits, computers, and essential learning supplies like textbooks, notebooks, and pens. These items are used directly in our programs or donated to schools that need them most.

Service Donation

Service donations are another exciting opportunity for smaller businesses to get involved in their communities.

Whether it’s shipping school supplies overseas, providing an oil change for a vehicle that transports kids to cultural events or even lending your webmaster services to help get our message out, we’re grateful for any assistance you can provide to keep our operating costs down.

Products Donation

In-kind product donations are the backbone of the support we receive.

Local businesses and large corporations alike understand the importance of investing back into the communities they serve. This represents an opportunity for them to meet and interact with community leaders and develop relationships, all while helping those in need.

Most of the donations are computers to operate our skills training programs; and tickets to cultural and sporting events to provide educational, fun and often inspirational ways for communities to come together.

But don’t let that limit your creativity! We’re always interested in unique and interesting partnerships that serve our core priorities.
