Applications are now open for the need-based scholarship offered by LESSAT-Africa in partnership with the Martin K. N. Kollie Foundation.

This scholarship is designed for Liberian women who had to leave school due to caregiving, financial constraints, or family responsibilities and are now ready to return and complete their education. This opportunity is an investment in women prepared to rise again through education. The scholarship covers full tuition fees and requires no repayment.

About the Scholarship

The scholarship supports women enrolling in recognized degree programs in STEM and TVET fields, helping build practical knowledge and professional confidence. The program encourages women to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Technical Vocational Education and Training. It is ideal for motivated learners committed to completing their studies and improving their long-term prospects.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be women between the ages of 25–45
  • Have left school for caregiving or family reasons
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Hold a high school diploma
  • Show a strong commitment to completing their degree

Fields of Study

  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Partner Institution

Smyth University of Science and Technology – a recognized institution offering a four-year degree program in the selected fields.
